If there is enough call for it I can anodise them, the anodise is a minimum charge of £80 so need to make it worth while otherwise the cost of the chain guards will be too expensive unfortunately
I've always said keep the costs down and too make it viable, just do them in plain brushed ally I will be the prototype beneficiary if you like? Don't worry I'll pay for it!
I’ve got a couple of forum members as it is who have been so kind to lend me patent parts to take some measurements off. I’d rather not sell any until I am 100% happy that everyone will be happy with them (nothing worse than losing a good reputation because bits don’t fit right etc etc) I plan to sell them plain unless we do a group buy and people want parts anodising and are happy to pay for it.
So have I but it's easy enough to find local firms who ano or powder coat at reasonable prices. I had my street hooks from the guy on here done black...
I think we've established that these will be easier for @mk3golfcab to produce if they are plain brushed ally! If you want it black.....paint your 'kin own! It's took a year to get to this point
We can certainly look at a group but if anodised one’s. If I have any other stuff that needs to go for anodising I would put them in too but I haven’t had anything go for around 2 months now
It's a growing movement. We're gonna be marching on @mk3golfcab's workshop any day now.... What do we want? Anodised black! When do we want it? NOW!
