I've learnt that the only people who will do work on your bike properly is yourself. I may be a mechanical numpty but finding the chain adjuster nut barely finger tight, and a whole marker difference between sides is something even I wouldn't find acceptable from my work let alone that of a paid professional!
its the same with cars, never had anything done to a car by a garage thats been done properly, always bits missing, screws loose etc etc. I do everything myself now
