That's just wrapped around the HRC brake reservoir delete kit as the rubber 'sweats'. Dont be saying the ktech shock is leaking it's barely been used lol
Rode it! A little chilly but very enjoyable all the same! After not riding for 6 months decided on a twisty country road route today with my dad on his new Z900RS. Got the confidence back to countersteer into the bends. I always forget just how much power is in the right wrist Big smiles
Hey now!! Don't you go mistaking me for @Lozzy !! You know, the gal with just the wildest imagination and has had an 2018 SP and blonde lady produced by a 3D printer and carted around for photo opportunities left, right, and centre. Nah, I do none of that stuff. No dudding the forum members, well, except that my 30-mile loops are really 38 miles, and @roboticus and I are actually brothers separated from birth.
Good to hear that sound again. Just let it idle for a couple mins after fresh oil the other day. Desperate for a wash, cant see the hugger for dust
So full strip down and degrease, spring clean washed and acf50 all over Will never be mint as one picture shows as the high monthly mileage and conditions used in but still not bad for nearly 40k on the clock. Ready for its new fairings in the morning.
To be honest mate it’s a newish swing arm but the acf-50 makes it shiny like that and protects it too Also wd40 is good mate
Had it out around Newcastle for an hour, first time I've rode in ages and it showed! I've been saying it for about a year but it needs a set of tyres and a ride up to Scotland and il have my confidence back.
Thanks, I use this stuff on the standard hugger and black trim parts. Also works well on the plastics on the car. Not sure I'm brave enough to try it on the coated swingarm & frame though https://www.chemicalguysuk.co.uk/sh...ressing2-vinylrubbertireplastic-restorer-4oz/
Thank mate swingarm would be better as a smoother finish so easier to correct, think the texture on the frame would be a nightmare? Have a look at autobright direct and a product called abyss I have used it on the trim on my Bm which are rebound for being crap and going grey and it’s brought them back to black for 6months so far
