Took my 929 out today. This was a refreshing ride. For a guy with 3 later model Blades, I have to say that this 2001 is a sprightly bike and handles so precisely. I really expected an older bike spongy feel. Suspension must is coincidentally just about right for me.

Haven't peaked it out in revs yet, but the lack of 70cc doesn't seem to harm it compared to the litre bikes. Certainly a wise move dropping the RS50 for it:D.

Looked at her; she’s a bad influence because home time has been brought forward by an hour now!

Did half a Nigel. No not a semi-flounce but rather a shortish ride and then home. Only half a Nigel as I didn't clean the bike when I got home :D

Was a nice blast, even if every scamera van in the Shire seemed to be out and about.

Good to hear!! That leaves you time to clean it tomorrow BEFORE you go out;).

Many would aspire to do just a quarter Nigel:D:D!

Eased off the atrocious tank protector from my 929 - using members' tips or heat and care. No probs and no marks. Will probably follow @PauloHRC 's lead and get a clear Puig. Might even lash out and get a second one for my SP;).

For the ignorant (me:() what's their purpose? Is it that they don't fall out when the wheel's removed/replaced?

Exactly that Nigel, pop them in and forget about them, ideal for the amount of times I have the wheels out

Went out on it today, and i have to say, it was the most fun I have had on it so far, no dick heads either, lots of nodding bikers, unless on a vespa sort of thing, maybe at their age, arthritis has prevented the cursory nod... 20190419_132652.jpg 20190419_134522.jpg 20190419_134624.jpg 20190419_150004.jpg 20190419_155700.jpg
