Thanks buddy, now on the lookout for RR7 HRC blades for sale to get an idea of valuation. Mine had just shy of 25k on it. Haven’t got a clue regarding value and don’t want to get done over by insurance.
That’s not big mileage mate so don’t be told it is by the insurance, any old photos to show the condition it was in? Good luck with it mate and a speedy recovery
Yeah a few from last year, and maybe one or two from this season. Annoyed that it’s at the start of the season so looks like no biking for this year.
Start trawling the bike sites to see what bikes like yours go for, that way you will know if the insurer tries to low ball you. With a bit of luck you may be sorted in 2 months
Hope your ok I had a crash in my Subaru and they offered me £1200 but after sending them printouts of ones that had sold on eBay for £2000 with in a week they sent a cheque for £1750 which was £2000 less my excess and didn’t even contact me to check
New rear brakes line to match the front, rear resovoir/and heat shield delete and a few more titanium bits just need a few p clips if any can help with the size would be grateful
I used 10 mm both on the guard and on the lower yoke. You could use 8 mm but I believe they're better with a bit of play:
Did 100 miles this morning before all the Bank Holiday gawkers jammed the roads! (Just noticed that Google is giving me pop ups for Rolls Royce. WTF? I've never even clicked on any Rolls link other than bread. Of course I am the measure of such a fine vehicle, but alas, they are no match for a Citroen C1.)
Well finally got out on the bike today and looks like the new lithium battery has resolved the sluggish starting issues I was seeing at the end of last year. A two and a half hour loop from Wigan, through Newton le Willows towards Warrington, over to Great Sankey, through Clock Face, St. Helens, Rainford, Bickerstaffe, Ormskirk, Ainsdale, Southport, Scarisbrick, back through Ormskirk, quick blast down the M58 and home. The best life medicine you can get. Let it cool, quick wipe over and a polish. All ready for next time
Good to hear. But 'next time' might not be for a while - plenty of rain after tomorrow. And 'Clock Face' is a town?
Clock Face is just North of the M62 on the way to St Helens. Might use the bike for my commute tomorrow as the winter returns Wednesday
