    You not having one @nigelrb ?? o_O

Surely one of your bike's should be treated?

    Don't worry it won't make them depreciate!

Cheers Paulo. I guess I do stand out as one of the 'regulars' who hasn't ordered.:(

It's not because in another's words I won't pay 60 quid for a ten quid piece of alloy:); it's more for the reason that I prefer the standard look, no matter how cheap and ugly the OEM plastic chain guard is.

How tight is the fit? I'm using Honda's carbon hugger which attaches to the same hole.

Looking at the picture I'm not sure you'd be able to accommodate the hugger if you were to order a chain guard!

Ooh tough decision......should it stay or should it go now!;)

To be honest I live the look of no chain guard and sprocket cover. I just dont like the thought of the chain snapping and lodging itself into my arse o_O

Yeah it looks good, I'd run no guard too but don't you get all black gooey chain lube fling on the underside of your seat unit and leathers ??o_O

I dont lube the chain so to speak. Wipe over with a wd40 sprayed cloth and that's about it.

It will spray a bit after a good wd40 cleaning but I normally remove as much as possible with a cloth and take it round the block then wipe any spray off afterwards.

Oops - I’ve just looked at mine and the hugger is going to be an issue potentially. Have you tried one on a bike with a hugger @mk3golfcab ?

As the chain guard uses the same hole as the hugger appears too if hazard a guess that it will have to be one or the other. Potentially dependant on how the hugger fits, the hugger May need to be modified to fit alongside the chainguard, the chain guard fits on the swingarm with a lug to keep it parallel to the swingarm

    Morning everyone!

The following members will have their brushed aluminium chain guards sent out today:

    PauloHRC
    Spygoat
    ninjagogo

I will update these members with tracking information once they have gone.

Have I missed anyone? (Brushed aluminium - NOT anodised)

    Cheers

I think will the possible issue of my hugger and the fact I've got a broken bolt already I'll take a raincheck mate until I know its reparable and get an idea of what I'm doing with this one...cheers

    Nice.
I think it goes without saying that post fitting pictures are mandatory.

Get rid of that dodgy Honda hugger and get a nice king carbon one! Then you can have a chain guard too
