Wilkos leather wipes, like baby wipes but made ( hopefully ) for leather. They are cheap and smell nice too, but like said, you will have to remove the mould with a nail brush

    Hi

Yes Chemical guys Leather cleaner looks like a golden sticker on it in a spray bottle the cleaner is clear and has no smell,
I bought this as a strong cleaner as you can dilute or use as is.

reason why I purchased this was to clean deeply my Dainese D -AIR leathers and then used a boar hair softish brush to get in there and clean them after a few hours absolutely brilliant then I coated them with G-Techniq Leather protector it is also a guard for abrasion and protects against fly or bee stains the G Tech you have to do this twice a year.

I've just used motul leather cleaner on my very old and very crashed spidis . They had been in the garage too long as I used my alpinestars and also smelt damp. I hosed them out after a spray of fabreeze layed out to dry in workshop then when dry did the motul clean. Colours came up well and leather nice and supple . Did still stink a bit so i got a car air con cleaner bomb taped up leg and arm bottoms put pencils in arms legs and chest to hold leathers in shape set thing off in chest and taped neck up . Left over weekend then removed tape ect and smells lovely now.

Very interesting. I'd never heard of them. Just looked up on Amazon. Might be just right for my car. Previous owner was a chronic smoker and even after about 6 weeks of air fresheners and leaving windows open etc, the car still reeks.:mad: Cheers!!

I used stuff vw make under quantum brand part number zgb41001500000. You can get over counter at your local tps. Just tell them you are a mobile mechanic and they should do you it for under a tenner.

You’re not wrong Lozzy, the helmets the same bit of wet kitchen roll soon as I get in to soften the flies then it’s clean for next time.

To be honest lozzy that’s how it normally is and I’ve learnt that mainly white leathers are shite for everyday use in rain and shine all year lol:(

I wouldn’t be using baby wipes on leather, it strips the natural moisture out of the leather! Specialist leather cleaners may take a little more elbow grease but way less harsh. Conditioner always goes a long way to keeping them supple and looking good.
