Rear hugger fitted this evening, thank you Mr Bats, Looks mint on the bike IMO. Should help keeping the crap off the back a little too.

I've now got the same Gary. I had a power bronze 1 on but changed it to the standard hugger as it's a lot neater and keep the rear minimal looking.

I agree ColinBR it Looks loads better than some after Market products I have seen, I nearly went down the carbon route, but never one to look a gift horse in the mouth. The price included fitting too :D

Nice 1. I just seen the other post on Bats's thread. He sounds a bit like myself. Loves tinkering with bikes even if they're not his.

He does, but I always try to pull my weight, I have always had the opinion them that can, do etc, but TBH he has spent a fair bit of time on our previous garage nights just looking over my shoulder whilst I myself twirl the spanners, the satisfaction I get, doing the jobs myself is immense, especially knowing everything I do is being carefully watched gives the reassurance that Im doing it right, sound stupid really I crap my pants working on a £12000 blade but I show little or no emotion working on a £200 million light rail project.
    Mind, it's my Blade ain't it ;)

How come it didn't come with one mate ? Do the ABS models not have them fitted or did your Dealer forget to put it on ?

Not fitted as standard to my knowledge Dan. Comes as an extra with the sports pack I believe. But I didn't need that seeing as I've got the fastest colour scheme already. LOL :D

Awaits abuse from Repsol and HRC owners ;)

The ABS models don't come with 1 mate as there is a small bracket for the abs cable that bolts into 1 of the holes, on the swingarm that the hugger would use. Easy fix though. Add a washer n all done :)

I genuinely do prefer the standard huggers to anything else I have seen!

Did you have no hugger before or an aftermarket one?

Ah rite .. i found the standard 1 pants in the wet . Bike was getting stinking so i sourced a race hugger just to keep the tail cleaner . I try and keep her on dry roads only now so i may go back to the small standard hugger as it does look rather tasty

The only other 1 I fancy is the Tyga carbon fibre 1 as its the same size n shape. And at that you can get the front to suit. I had this on my gixxer and the quality was spot on.
