    Hi All

I have a 2013 Anniversay blade and have had an accident in the last few days where someone in a car has tried ironically to filter on my outside, albeit I was established in the lane, consequently the mirror and integrated indicator has been ripped clean off, it is being fixed and paid for by the individual.

My question is has anyone ever put seperate indicators on a 2013 blade? If so how easy was it?

If no-one has done it, how easy or difficult do you think it would be?

    I await responses.

    Rob

I would imagine it's not difficult if you are handy with fettling.

Wiring diagrams are freely available as are the necessary connectors/wires.
You would need to work some magic on the mount to the fairing to ensure the indicator remains perpendicular to the centre line of the bike i.e. 90 degrees

Why do you want to do it out of interest? I think the the higher indicators in the mirrors are more readily visible.

Agreed, but it nearly put my pre-planned trip to the Battlefields of France on hold or cancelled as if the indicators were sepearte you can get away with only 1 mirror, but only 1 indicator on the front is a no-go in France and England, also should it happen again it is far easier to replace a bog standard mirror as you dont have the wiring issue with the integrated one that is currently on my bike.

    Ahh, I see.
There's a few threads/posts regarding mirrors on here at the moment.
I think you may have missed out on a sale, but some non-OEM replacements can be had off ebay for about £30 as an interim measure that will keep your trip on track
