Today, I replaced the steering control arm on the BMW, for its MOT, at least i know what the vibration was now

Then I went to the garden centre - where it seems that only people who have failed to pass their driving tests are allowed.

Then, I decided to wash the cars and bike, and took some photos, been a while since i did any vehicle photography

    That was the old nigelrb:rolleyes:.

The new nigelrb is kind, helpful, restrained, humble, non-contentious, non-sexist . . .

Oh, by the way, not exactly sure when the 'new' one starts!:D:D

That scouring pad is uncomfortably close for my liking, needs to be a 10ft exclusion zone around it haha

Lol it will be moved. Guys I need a bit of advise.
So my radiator isn’t in the best condition. There’s paint chips all round the edges and it bugs me.

A guy I know is breaking a 2016 sp and his radiator is mint. And selling for £200

Will this fit my 2008?? Will I need different hoses etc?

You'd have to take your off anyway to fit a 2016 rad (and I don't know whether it would fit). I think you'd get out of it for less than 200.00 by just removing yours and restoring - unless all the fins are crushed. Even so, there's good repairers available, one of which recently cropped up on here:

Good effort @blink . Just as treacle runs and flows better when warmed up, so will you. Every minute on our bikes teaches us something new and with that we improve our riding and enhance our enjoyment. You're right - a relaxed ride is the best way to be and will not 'force' you into a situation you might later regret.

Interesting about the gear choice because I saw the speed Vs gear comments the other day, so closely monitored mine this morning. I'm a 3rd gear in 30 mph person. Nothing wrong either way, just saying.;)

Ahah Nigel I know I am not very active this year but I still visit the forum at least every week ;) and it's rare that I do not smile when I read your answers! XD
I've got a "busy" life since few months, my wife returned at school so we both have a lot of work, me at home and her for school :(

I'm still searching for little things to "improve" my bike, in order to make it looks like a "racebike on the road" ;)

That's why I deleted this useless thing this afternoon XD

Would like to buy rearsets too but no money for such an expensive thing for the moment :/

well, i think what i was doing was accelerating from a stop, and changing up after a little squirt, and winding up in 3rd or 4th, come to a corner and i was slowing, then it labours, so down a couple, then back up, keeping it in 2nd at 30-40 seems to be ok when i slow down a bit without changing gear all the time. Same in the 40s and 50s

Its obviously totally different to a low revving v8 automatic that you can only hear when you rag the bollocks off it. To be honest, i was also thinking about other bikers thinking, look at this clown in the wrong gear all the time lol

I only know because my son said I needed a rad guard because of how much the rads were. Then my mate took great pleasure in tell me how little they cost

Spent the morning having my first attempt at spannering on the blade! Put my new nose cowl on, and a new ZG screen.
I am honestly impressed by the Honda engineers - how did they manage to come up with such a complex way of putting the fairings together with such horribly unfriendly trim tabs...
Managed not to snap any, but must be easily done!
