If so i'd be interested to know what original stickers you have on both sides of your swing arm! Some have just the UnitProlink sticker like this: and others have a Showa sticker as well as the UnitProlink like this: I thought mine was missing the Showa sticker but it might be it was never on it in the first place. The black Showa sticker also isn't listed on Honda parts where the UnitProlink one is and the guy I spoke to is looking into it for me as to whether they can be got hold of and whether they were an optional sticker pack that came with the bike.
The lower image of the two looks to be different to stock - the belly pan stickers are different and the CBR Fireblade isn’t shown on the side fairing (it says RCV). Chances are the SHOWA on the swing arm isn’t stock
Thanks it was a bad example to use as plenty of others that do have the Showa sticker and a stock bike - i'll update with a better one! I think that is stock other than RCV sticker as plenty of google images with same belly pan stickers and mine is the same. It's the top image that is different!
I'm far from a Repsol expert, but I seem to recall a post, maybe from @Lozzy , who thought the belly pan stickers came as a kit for the purchaser to either fit or not. That would explain some differences. All credit to you for wanting to restore it to original.
Thanks Nigel yes it's really nagging me! Being low mileage and the condition it's in makes me want to have it as original as possible even the warning stickers on the swing arm (which I can get) and have the original parts for the bits that have been replaced such as the exhaust, indicators and rear pegs etc which the seller has for me i'm just waiting to get them via a courier. Once I have everything original on the bike or in a box with the bike i'll be very happy with it! Yes it was the parts guy at the dealership who thought the swing arm stickers were an optional sticker set as well so it would certainly explain the differences in all the google images.
And this is what the left hand side should look like (sorry to the bloke in the pic for using his pic!) I want my swing arm to look like that as it came out the factory but again I think that Showa sticker is optional?!
Thanks Nigel. Both sides in the photos on there have the Showa stickers present so if the parts guy can find them for me i'm having them!
If he can't source, there is a solution. I am presently dealing with a guy recommended by @PauloHRC who's going to do some Erion Decals for me. (I actually stalk Paulo for his contacts: Puig tank pads and more recently the decals. Not going to buy one of those massive Volkswagen tanks though!!)
Brilliant because that was my next step if I couldn’t source them from Honda - look for a graphics/printing company! My dealership said they might take a couple of days to get back to me so I shall let you know
