Have to share this. Preparing dinner I had to remove a loaf of bread from the freezer. I have a two-door fridge/freezer, of the 'upside down' style with the freezer in the lower part. I bend over ready to remove the bread, and yank open the door. As most know, vacuum seals on some doors mean they fly open with some force. My undoing was that I'd yanked open the top door (fridge) instead of the freezer. Bang! Straight into my forehead. Now sporting an embarrassing lump and bruise above my right eye
When you say 'upside down style' fridge freezer......I'd say that was the right way up! I've never seen one with the freezer on top, I guess when living in Australia being 'downunder' everything is upside down right? And this is where the confusion lies.....thank goodness for gravity eh!
I'd never even noticed, or thought about that. But yes, in Australia most fridges do have the freezer in the top section - and that is the exact reason for my reference to 'upside down'. I guess I should now be checking my TV's 'set top' box. I just can't get the TV to friggin' balance on it!!
