Definitely worth investing in my last blade rad was ruined had to replace it as it only like 80 notes compared to 650 for a replacement rad
Worth having one if riding in the wet, Mine is quite big but doesnt half keep the back clean I went out on the superduke and it was everywhere the bike and all up my back covered.
pretty much all my crashes (outside the track) have been slow speed (< 15 mph) crashes. a few of those left me stranded due to cracked stator/etc I’m now prepared with an engine cage & subframe cage
Nice bike @Demmel . Shame about the background. Made ne start singing that old children's song: 'If you go out in the woods today . . . ' Yeah, I'm losing it.
Brilliant photo, Andrew. I sense some professional knowledge behind that shot, or did @raphael take it!
LMFAO... must try harder! Would love to take credit for the picture but it was done by someone who is a pro, but he took a darn fine shot of her. See, I do love her, even if she is currently breaking my heart!
Here is my 08 blade. Some of you may recognise this bike from somewhere. As you can see it has been extensively modified and is quite a special bike. I purchased it from Bauer (PB) before someone broke it up for spares and cashed in. This bike is the end of an era for PB and it was far too good to end up broken up and sold for bits. So i now commute on it lol
Very nice and the 500 LC behind brings back memory’s - was the second shot taken whilst you’d nipped in a public convenience? Others will be interested I’m sure
Very nice, and I remember the bike from the magazine project. A lot of goodies in/on it. Top commuter!! Only if it's Garstang!
Ha well spotted - ok this originates from PB too funnily enough, the forum word filter substitutes the C word and replaces it with GENT, i still get a smug sense of superiority when in business meetings and i can say to someone "you are a real GENT" and they are like "cheers man" GENT was also one of my surname Alias's when they had borrowed any of my bikes to feature. Again for reasons of common sense / security but also because it was a silent nod to the PB regulars
Brilliant. So pleased its gone to a good home, followed the build on this one religiously They put a great deal of effort into this bike
Nice one so it was you that followed it lol They sure did, and that is felt from riding the thing. The wrap was quite subjective and divided most readers - with the majority hating it. Fact is it is certainly unique and wont pale into insignificance over time - lets be honest it you saw this bike in 5 years time as is, you would recognize and remember it. Anyway its insured until March, i got till then to win novice on it at Anglesey lol And there is some unfinished business with this bike and hopefully will have a date with Rutter and Donnington - this wouldn't be possible if it had been broken up for bits and scattered all over the country
