Agree I have C+E (class 1). I reckon every road user should at least take a journey in a HGV and see the road from a truck drivers perspective, it would undoubtably be an eye opener for the vast majority. There is unfortunately a small number of HGV drivers that shouldn’t be allowed on the road. Most take there profession very seriously.
they would see the lorry drivers perspective and then go 100yds down the road and forget it the youngsters and women(wait for it) need to see the old advert "only a fool breaks the two second rule"
Has anyone fitted ohlins FGRT 204 forks to an 08 blade? I also have BREMBO calliper’s and think I’m going to have to have them milled down 5mm anyone done this?
I've not done it but did read about a set of ohlins forks needing the equivalent of the oem dowel/spacer thing taking off. Think Baron von grumble had this done on his? Might be worth looking back through older YouTube videos.
I spoke to the guy who put 204 on his 08. Don't have any problems. This is the best kit (with 30mm NIX inside )you can buy for this money. Not to mill them - change your rotors to 330mm.
I got this bike the end of last summer, and ths engine covers had damage from the previous owner, so as I was getting it ready for this year, I spotted a set on Ebay and decided to change mine.
Forgot the after picture !! Also decided to order a few more titanium bolts, as the bike already has plenty, I thought I'd add a few more every so often
Started assembling some more kit for the fireblade. Kit subframe and Factory Honda racing bars with stock bar ends. .
Cheers dude, been doing some research myself. I have 3 options 330mm discs Mill the callipers Mill the fork lowers. Problem I also have is I have fresh BREMBO disc not been bedded in yet and they are a little bit special. What was ohlins thinking Other news my TTX shock turned up today
