Gilles TCA chain adjusters

So i just got a set of Gilles TCA chain adjusters, anyone know roughly how to fit them? And are they good for accurate tensioning of the chain?

I've fitted them to mine and it's pretty straightforward.

 

Had a quick look on google and the only bit i'm unsure about is the threaded bar part and the lock nut and how they fix to the swingarm, ive not had my rear wheel off the bike since i have had it so no idea how the existing ones fit in, are they just held in place when the rear wheel spindle is tightened

 

The adjuster blocks will just come out with the spindle mate keep an eye out for which spacer goes where as they fall out and roll lol
