RR7 Headlight Conversion

Hi Guys, I’m looking to do the headlight conversion so both are on when i’m on dipped beam. Is it my OCD kicking in.....probably but there is the extra safety issue and people telling me I have a light out Anyone done one? Advice and bits of kit referrals appreciated

 

I use doppellicht module (might be only one "l" in the spelling)

Search this forum for it and you'll see a few on here have done it with great results.

You're the man. That was a damn informative step-by-step lesson.

 

Safety concern IIRC is that drivers see two headlights close together and think it is a car in the far distance, then if they go for an overtake etc they and you get a nasty surprise!

Also watch out for battery drain. For this reason I reverted back to single lights, although mine are HID's.

 

Was never an issue on my R1. I just assume no one has seen me anyway prepare for the worst, if it doesn’t happen I’ve lost nowt if it does punch their mirrors

Thanks Boothman, although typically as mine is the SC57 I need the Z version Seems to know his stuff though as he mentioned it to me
