Good. Won't be long now. I received an email about the fee and settled online. The parcel was couriered the following day.
How much it looking it like to pay to be released? Can't wait to see them and see how you get on fitting them.
About £60 customs if you paid around the £300 mark. Slow and patient is the art to fitting them - although enthusiasm to see the finished product makes that difficult.
You haven't got anytime for this kind of thing @CalRR ........you get back to shitty nappies and getting no sleep!! Oh......hang on a minute, thats my situation too
I said to the Mrs today that I'm going to get in the garage and sort my bike out.......not happened and I'm tired now.
Or you could just ring them and find out what you need to pay. That's what I did, just googled a few numbers and got through to who I needed to speak to. Paid the money and they organised forwarding the parcel on through the courier...... Will speed things up a bit. Mine was sat in customs longer than it took too travel from China. Its probably just sat there waiting
Yea i did ring and she said £24 ... but i said can i just pay it now she said no blah blah have to wait for letter & all that
Just rang them and they said waiting for it to be confirmed & reach our delivery depot ... Cant even pay or anything .. this is long .. and the excitement and idea of it all has left me now...
Haha i cant wait ....... It says released from customs now and if i ring up tomorrow i can pay the £24
Collected them this morning .. total time was 3 weeks & 2 days . Total for fairings £225 Total charges £12 vat Parceforce handling fee £12
Any threads for swapping fairings would be helpful, youtube hasnt got many videos.. I have had the rear tail fairing off quite a few times , gotta be careful with that ! Belly pan and tank should be easy as ive had them off , its just the nose cone and side fairings im not too sure about ...
Great news...... I asked for a clear screen with mine! There are a few threads on here about fitting fairings and nose cone. That video that Nigel has posted is for 2012 onwards bike's so fairings are slightly different but if it helped him it may help you. I used one of the threads on here.
Another point is to refer to the exploded view of parts diagram. That helps immensely, especially when you get to the air ducts etc: https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/brow...011/country/any/colour/graphite-black/gallery This is invaluable:
