Well i started about 7pm .. got the tail fairing on, tank
On and one side fairing which proved a git!
Havent watched any videos yet ,
But busted a couple of little black pop in clips that hold the little black fairing inside up near the intake ducting..
Ive kept the original little insert plastics on , jusst replacing the main fairings ..
Just got to do the left hand side fairing , nose
Cone , belly pan and front mudguard tomorrow. 67B2585F-8F48-4ACD-BE82-1F023772E9CF.jpeg 099596C3-A846-427A-B3EF-2CFD16A40486.jpeg

    Going well, Chukz.

If you're wanting tank badges OEMs are approx £70. Keep your eyes on ebay for a damaged or cheap tank and prise the badges off. Very easy. I scored a tank for £25.00.:D

Or you could just get some nice gel domed ones almost identical to the originals for about 7 quid off ebay! ;)

I had them but reckon they're crap.

Quite possibly, being in the affluent West Mids and all, my standards are higher. But as we always agree - each to their own!:p:D;)

You're going to hate this. But it's near enough impossible to take the nose cone off without taking the side panels off....

Hence the reason for posting the video and parts schematic:rolleyes:.

Enthusiasm is rarely rewarded with speed.

In the form of the famed nigelrb analogies, it is like getting all excited for a special night with a new woman. Little preparation, jump straight in, and then it's all over within seconds. Only then do you realise you should have started slow and done the job properly!!:D
