im not sure if its me or ebay but i put my bike up for sale on ebay, 08 plate 22k, lots of extra's including the below HRC SEAT J Mc screen Power comander yoshi exhaust legend body work carbon hugger gear indicator braded lines intergrated rear light ASV levers and a few other bits, keep getting offers of 3.5k, to me it must be worth more and was looking for around £4200, are my offers right or am i right. Tempted at keeping it if that is all its worth and putting on display in the house. Pete
That's Ebay for you! It's called sorting the wheat from the chaff. Most of those offers wouldn't be serious or they're from those who are just trying it on. I've had the same myself recently. The right person will come along. Your 42 seems bang on, or even a bit low.
I'm not even responding to any enquiries I get for the KTM at the minute. Cant be arsed anymore lol. People telling me how much other bikes have gone for? Where they can get one slightly cheaper? On you go then you tit.
Funny. I do exactly that. A guy pulled that on me the other week when the aprilia was advertised. He tried to crunch me sub-4 grand so I politely declined and offered my help by posting 2 links to apes in his price range. The eventual buyer didn't even haggle because he was a serious buyer and knew exactly what he was looking for. My feeling is that maybe only 1 in 20 is serious.
I'd say your price is about right, just hang in there and ignore all the laughable offers...... It'll only wind you up!
