clearly im not the anarchist i thought lol I never even fronted when i first passed, and declared stickes on my car too lol
The idea of riding round without a license is potty. Get pulled over once and you're f***ed. No idea why matey on his 125 wouldn't just go and get his CBT - it's not like it's expensive, difficult to find somewhere you can do it, or you can fail?! I can understand that a CBTer might say his L plate "has fallen off" to the cops (the front numberplate on my classic car seems to always "fall off") but I would have thought the world of no license, insurance or anything was pretty much exclusive to scooter thieving kids and crims who are staying off the radar.
thats what i thought, ppl without license and insurance are the scrotes that the rozzers are chasing down
You wouldn't drive a car without a licence, tax or insurance and so a bike is no different in my eyes. I've known a couple of people who have done it and they're normally thuggish, scrotey, borderline criminal arsehole types! Bit of a generalisation I know...... But its true. I wouldn't be seen dead riding with a prick like that. They're not proper bikers and haven't got a clue about biking etiquette. You'll normally see them wearing shorts, hoodies and mainly no gloves! Fucking disgrace the lot of them! You see them on Instagram with the hash tag #bikelife...... Again not got a clue about biker life!! Ahem.... Just sayin
ah well, i live close to Matlock, and the bikes go past constantly and the ones with proper gear, boots, gloves always slow down for the junction and generally ride like i would. The ones wearing trainers and those hoodies tend to go racing past, overtakng at the junction at 60mph when its a 30. Plenty have been knocked off by cars pulling out or into that side road. basically, if its a dickhead, he is wearing trainers also, this guy had a repsol leather jacket, not branded, you know what i mean. he wanted a one piece suit but complained that they were £300
I’m not so sure there doing that much chasing! To add my pennies worth... I have too much to loose if I got caught without license, insurance and of course with that... a current MOT certificate. Not to mention if I actually had an accident and worse hurt anyone - I’d be absolutely mortified. Sadly I’m not sure all road users feel this way...
this is my thoughts pretty much, but those that dont bother with it, dont care that they get banned because they just carry on anyway
Must admit I wear trainers, jeans, gloves and a jacket whilst riding if I'm out with my daughter as we tend to stop for dinner. My full kit is safety clothing though, even the trainers. Got a full suit aswell but not gonna sit across the table from my daughter in that, doesn't make me a hooligan though does it? I hardly ever break a speed limit whilst I'm out in jeans and trainers to be honest
No, but invariably, if its a dickhead, its air max and hoody lol. Not all trainers wearing hoodists are dickheads
Thank God for that, was just about stick them in Ebay only time I've not ridden in full kit was when I couldn't afford it to be honest, younger and dumber back then tough. Gotta say I do prefer riding in full leathers though
