i'm looking into some more custom ear plugs but with the earbuds in them but the cable looks a mile long as i only need it to go into the sena unit on the side of the lid. anyone using this type of ear plug and if so how are you getting around that much spare cable? cheers
I have a Cardo Scala which I use with custom plugs. I found that plugging in and out of the unit itself was wearing the socket and creating a looser connection. I now have a lead plugged in to the cardo permanently which has a socket to plug the earplugs in to. That gives a longer bit of cable loop, probably 9-12 inches, but I just tuck it inside my jacket.
Get some Ultimate Ears? Not cheap like! Choice of finish and colours etc https://custom.ultimateears.com/col...mSgw.0&utm_referrer=https://www.google.co.uk/
When I had mine made I specified shorter leads and customs colours for each ear, the slight excess of cord I tuck into helmet, I’ll send you a photo when I get home

Cheers Steve,I Didnt realise they would/could do that? As the pictures all show really long cord. Who did you use and what did they charge mate, the place who’s did my other plugs charge £140 but would imagine a better deal at a show?
