    Greetings to all!
    Blade 2008.
Temporarily left without exhaust. Tell me, will it harm the engine if you drive without exhaust? On the loss of power on the bottoms and evil neighbors, I know :D

If you don't have an o2 eliminator fitted it may confuse the ECU and throw an FI error, similar for the exhaust servo. Not sure it would harm the engine but wouldn't recommend it.

I seem to recall that in the carb days the bike would run much leaner.

No idea though how the effect would be with fuel injection, but that would support BSS's hypothesis that the ECU might become confused. Generally, they would sound very ordinary too.;)

I can’t see it harming your engine but I’m sure it will harm your hearing:p

I did this one with an R6.....I remember starting it up just out of curiosity and I just thought WOW this is what a moto gp bike must sound like up close.

I couldn't resist taking it for a quick lap around the block just for fun. It was quite ridiculous but still good fun.

Not sure you'd want to run it like this day to day though o_O

Tested. Driving without exhaust - sucks. The sound and engine performance are the same.
