Ahh vodka....very Russian and manly thank god being as we've 3 'blokes' coughed already to the Baileys....although just noticed you're the only Northern bloke so makes sense now

Can't beat it. Chiled bottle of Stolichnaya. Side plates of pickled gherkins, tomatoes with salt, buttered rye bread and other snacks in between shots. The Russians may not know much but they know a good way to get mullered when they see it
Only have vokda in Black Russians but as they make me a right punchy t**t I no longer drink them. Normally like a nice single malt these days, current favourite is Balvenie Doublewood. Used to like Jura Origin but they did a rebrand/replacement and they all taste like smokey water now
I always find it quite funny that, if you mention that you like single malt whisky the general reaction is.......'you smooth bastard'........but if you mention that you like vodka, everyone assumes that you're a tramp Especially weird when you consider that whisky is just vodka that's been aged in an old sherry cask. Hence the colour and flavour. Aside from that......same stuff.
I don't imbibe. I was terrible at it. Always had an allergic reaction. I would drink and break out in handcuffs.
