Partkitt Racing are organising a ride out & suspension day on Sunday July 14th. The day starts from 10am, but the ride out is from 12:00 and they're based in Tuxford NG22 0NH https://www.facebook.com/ParkittRacing/posts/2486809804672482
No John from Alpha suspension just adjusted settings for my weight etc. The settings they were on were way out! Especially the sp...chuffed to bits with them now.
So if I weigh myself with my leathers on, helmet, boots and gloves is there a corresponding table of settings relevant to my black edition, or am I over simplifying it?
Well if you can find someone who's the same weight/same model with the same ride requirements etc then guess you could dial them in. But tbh £30 is probably one if the cheapest and better mods you could pay for. John was at mine for over an hour and he discussed with me what I wanted out of the bikes...the roads I use them on etc so like I say I think it's worth forking out the money to get it done professionally. Plus they usually say any problems and they'll re-tweek
I was just meaning if I spoke to him on the phone (what’s is the number by the way) and did him a £30 transfer could he give me the settings for me to do myself. Wasn’t looking to duck the fee just that he’s probably a trek from me.
Oh right I see. I'm not sure he could do that as they measure your forks and other stuff! And measure and check when youre on the bike. He's Leeds area so don't know how far you are from there. But there are suspension specialists everywhere. Keis are over Manchester way. Trackdays have them too
I reckon he'd tell you that every bike is different and shocks will age differently depending on mileage & how the bike has been looked after. It's your money, but if you can't make it to one of the suspension guys have you thought about riding to your local circuit when there's a bike day on and get one of the support services to do it for you.

In fact. I remember when I had my bike suspension setup. The guy remarked, "You're the absolute ideal size and weight for a sportbike" Translation. You're small and girly
