I have just bought a 2014 tri colour Fireblade and the owners manual in the pack is in Feench or Spanish. Is this normal and can I get an English one?
Bit strange mate. My 2012 owners manual is just English no other written language. Older Honda owners Manuals used to have a few different ones but the primary one was English.
They are often on eBay for between £10 to £30. Yo could always try @vic_ster51 , who might have one laying around Your bike might be an import. Is it a kilom speedo? If not, someone's just bunged in any book.
Bought it from a Honda dealer and I am the second owner. The bike was originally bought from Rochdale Honda so don't think it's an import.

Yes, I'm fairly sure that option exists on the '14. My point was, though, that if in kilometres, it might have evidenced the possibility of the bike being an import. Given your subsequent post of the bike being 'originally' from Rochdale negates that and suggests three possibilities: That Rochdale purchased a Euro bike; Rochdale purchased a UK bike which contained a Euro Owner's Manual; Original owner lost original UK manual and purchased and alternative off eBay to maintain the bike's 'originality'. If Wigan Honda can get you the original manual, you're set!
My bike was set to KPH when I left the dealer, it was previously unregistered. So much for the pre delivery checks.
Ah, thanks for the response. Agree about the sub-standard p/d check. The shame when that happens is that we actually wonder what else might have been missed.

Yes like having to adjust the play in the throttle and clutch, oil the chain and adjust tyre pressures. After seeing the massive scrape on the wheel of another bike that they put a new tyre on, I gave it a good going over myself rather than have some cowboy tampering with it.
