All good thanks @Boothman...... Just doing my job, very proudly! A lot of you will be surprised to know, I'm a Funeral Director!
Should have fitted the Arrows last night, St Peter would have thought he was at the Walls of Jericho and not manning the pearly gates. Ironically I saw a bike hearse yesterday, unoccupied I might add. Made me wonder if I would want one one the time came. Decided I would rather be strapped to the pillion seat whilst the rider wheelie'd down the road before doing a stoppie at the crem
Funeral processions always make me think what id like but, i always wait, despite the impatient people eager to get past, or break it up...
I sat in the car park of a crem in Southend for a bikers funeral and just as the traffic was stopped and went silent you could hear the noise of the bikes and trikes and on my stereo was wild horses by the Rolling Stones. After that day the song changed for me and I played it nearly all the way back to Norfolk This might sound really daft but in my head the bikes were the wild horses
I bet that dude at Paul's would have preferred a last 90mph blast...I certainly would....can you imagine drivers faces lol I'm not having a bloody funeral but if @PauloHRC can arrange something like this for me as a last laugh I might consider it
Early start, clear roads, sunny Saturday and sat at the coast. Bacon buttie, cuppa, and then heading home via my new favourite road to sit and watch qualifying with my MotoGP buddy. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.
B1225 north from A158 at Baumber to North Willingham. It's Cainby High Street going south but has less bikes, more bends and no camera warnings Road surface is good too which makes a change and the bit by North Willingham was recently resurfaced with proper tarmac! I normally tie in the road from Horncastle to Cadwell and carry on to the A16 but will be leaving that bit out for a month after today as there are the dreaded signs warning of roadworks with 20mph signs ready to be turned around.
I know I'm late, but there was no pic. You have to understand @bazzashadow 's style. Many of his posts have a massive void - sort of like digging a hole on the page and filling it with nothing!
