Because of his rust we have spoken to four other owners at different meets around Norfolk that have all sold theirs for this reason Must of come in a Lowestoft and dropped in the sea
I think from reading bits about it that the rust problems seem to be model specific possibly dependant on where it's manufactured...some are outsourced to Thailand I think? Wasn't it the scrambler or bobber that folks were having rust issues with?!? The Speed triple is still put together at Hinckley I believe...I don't think there's been a problem with rust on that or the street
Many by the look of it. I found this when doing checks for the 765 Daytona. https://amcn.com.au/editorial/triumph-thailand-factory/
Ride the Street and Speed back to back and I guarantee you’ll buy the Street. I did! Street was like a manic bmx with an engine in comparison.
I have been so critical of nakeds, but I really do not mind that at all. Very pleasing, and could actually see myself on one. (Not yet though)
The dealers was only 30 odd miles up the road and it was warm here plus it's still being run in He's got quite a nice pair of legs too for me to follow
30 miles is a hell of a way for shorts... Not all about just being run in, it's the rest of the twats on the road haha
Fair point @Stuish . How often do we hear the story: 'I was only going a few miles,' etc, as if there's no risk in travelling low miles.
You're ALL just jealous... cos you wish you'd been out today in shorts with your big shiny helmet on show
