I've traded my very much loved MT10 for a 2014 Fireblade which I picked up today. First impressions...... it really wants to shift!! I like the rider position, looks, performance, brakes and suspension. Mt10 sounded amazing but I've not had chance to really open up the fireblade as it was absolutely pissing it down.
Looking for ways to mount Givi top box for commuting, any advice much appreciated.

    Hiya!
Firstly, what an AWESOME first name. Kudos sir.
Secondly, I do use a rucksack, but when I changed from my old tourer to my newer bikes, I ditched the hard box & went for the tankbag with petrol cap /tank-lock locking system thingy for the times I needed to take extra in to work...

Welcome Andrew :) the Kriega US10/20 is a good call. I've used these and the Kriega R15/25 backpacks on previous bikes, but be careful loading up the backpack as it's extra pressure on your arms/back on a sportsbike (bloke over 40 alert :D)

    Thanks for all your replies.

Got sorted with hepco and becker mount specific for fireblade, should arrive soon. Replaces pillion cover so I can quickly change back to cowl which looks mint.

Be interested to see how the whole combo works and what it looks like on the bike. Thinking of a big solo trip myself

I've kitted out the garage in floor to ceiling mirrors to provide uninterrupted viewing from all angles. Just sorting insulated floor mats as sporting the birthday suit outfit can take its toll on bare feet - especially when manouvering to achieve the sprawled over the bike look . Might also require some strategic waxing to prevent snagging... I'm on the case
Is that what you meant btw? :D:D

Of course it's what he meant.

But he got a video from me. It accentuates the moving parts:D:D.
