Anoraks don't just keep you warm in winter mate.

They can also bore you shitless with stuff you'll never need late on a Sunday night.

My new Ermax Corsa screen arrived today. I took the old one off but need new fixings so will not fit it until they arrive. It looks nice, but I don't really like the white Ermax stickers down the sides. I am wondering if they come off without leaving a mark, will ask Ermax before trying.

The single arc looks better than I thought it would when I offered it up and just placed it in position. It's quite a bit higher so hopefully better wind protection.

Good luck with the drilling Nutty.

Removed my Akrapovic Evo system from my RRW, stripped it down and posted it. Putting standard system on and trying some weird silencers on it !!!

Got a 600mm by 63mm silencer with a 37mm baffle in. Gonna gradually reduce the length until it's too loud and slashcut it! Gonna try a Harris style can on one side or maybe both sides. Also gonna try two megaphone silencers on one side. Just fancy summat different!

Ha! I've tuned pipes on model engines the same way. Keep trimming them back at full throttle until it runs smooth.

Maybe not quite the same though.

I know a performance pipe needs to be about 600mm long, but I don't care about max BHP so I will tune it for sound and looks. 37mm baffle may be a bit restrictive though! I can make a 50mm baffle if it is too quiet with too much back pressure. Will post pix for opinions at the weekend. On nights for rest of week , so no home jobs until Friday pm.

I like the way ya can see more of the pipe with the new sets on it just have to get the rears off and powder coated now then fit the rear extension mounts so I can use and unuse when needed.
But they will have to wait HM shifter next on he list.

Well I wrapped up nice and warm and braved the cold bitter wind blowing down the alley way and fitted the Brembo / Carrozzeria combo.
Didn't get the brake pipe fitted cos I lost all feeling in my fingers . Can try again Sunday with a bit of luck :)

Sold my Akra system to Billy Balthorpe, so I refitted my standard system and summat I'm trying for noise and power. I know it looks weird, but bare with me, it will be modded.
