I've got one of them. I've got a David Orduro too. But mine's knackered out and looking a bit second hand these days
I've got the older Cintiq and about 5/6 A5 wide tablets - love them. Dont really use the cintiq much these days - i find your hand gets in the way a bit!
This new one is in a different league Zee. Monitor wise it's easily as good as the Eizo's we have and you can't see the grid of the matrix like you can on the previous model. The swivelling base helps set up the perfect drawing position too. I'm banned from using it unless I remember to remove my watch being a southpaw, but for image restoration it's canine genitalia.
Honestly, we were soak testing them side by side for a fortnight and I never could quite get the Eizo's profiled just how I wanted it with the big Epsons but the Cintiq worked virtually out of the box. Don't get me wrong, the Eizo's are good but it's not quite a real world 'good'. They're clever for the sake of clever and its a lot easier to match your monitor to your printer than the other way around and the Eizo's does believe it knows better. The downside? £2000
Dan is a master of the moving image. I, on the other hand, am too old and broken to keep up with the moving image so I stick with stills.
Nothing wrong with that, all the best of us are, although years ago we would have been burned at the stake, you being a ginger as well they would have put an extra log on first. Left hookers run in my family, dad was, I am, brother is, both my kids are, as are his two spawn of the devil children.
No one else in my family but the left hand gene is strong in Jeanette's. Can't stand bloody right handed people. Clumsy buggers can't do sod all with there left hands but wank. Whereas we, having grown up having to use their stupid one handed tools are the true ambidexters. And yes that is a made up word, but it's our word so they can't use it.
