Clutch lever problem

I bought a Translogic IS4 for just over £400 recently and the Honda dealer fitted it for free on mine.

 

Is the Honda one they're quoting both an up/down shifter?

yeah it does up and down

 

are these for proper aggressive riding, or are they fun for general use?

no way im gonna be riding like on a race track, but things that are fun are good

 

Ahh right...the Translogic will do down but you need to buy the Auto blipper they do as a separate item so will be pushing up towards £600 I think as well.

 

They're for both...I use mine all the time in every situation, they're great fun

 

so you literally dont have to use the clutch lever when changing gear?

 

I love it...best QS I've had. Really smooth and it has intell learning. I've just got the upshift on mine.

 

No..just tap the shifter..saves your hand and takes you up thru the gears at warp speed ...makes it sounds stonking too

 

well sound is always good to me

No absolutely nothing...if it's a quality shifter and set up right it's as smooth as can be
Go test ride one with one on

that literally never occurred to me

thinking about it, even when i change gear when i dont want to, down two for example, its not like in a car where it gives you whiplash, the revs just go up a lot but it keeps going without a jolt
