i think I need a new tyre but I am going to stay away from Bridgestone I had seen it was low but it was sitting on this patch. When I got round my mates he said your tyre is fu@@ed mate, I said I know let’s go, he said no it is fu@@ed told his mate to look.so I got off the bike to see what the pair were running on about
We need more info, age of tyres burnouts etc, I have never seen anything like this, I use Bridgestones and been 100% happy with them
Make sure you book ahead and take it steady. If you do get pulled you may find a lenient copper as you have pre-booked, if not then it's £500 + points. Personally the next time I got my bike out after thay pic was when the mobile tyre fitter turned up.
2015 tyres s20 I brought the bike with 3700 miles so would they of been on the bike from new? Has done 7000 miles now no burnouts but the odd spin up
Like I say they had done 3700 when I brought it But they might of been new just before I brought it. So really I can’t say what miles they have done. They Might of only done the 3000 odd since I have owned it
I doubt an S20 would last 7000. Suspect that's closer to 3500-4000. That degradation isn't unique to a brand of tyre, it's just so heavily worn you are down to the last bit of rubber and you are close to exposing the construction of the tyre. Kudos for getting your money's worth but I think I'd have changed that 500 miles ago for piece of mind. Also agree 30 miles isn't a problem, no hard acceleration though.
I had same tyre on my black when I got it...like you bazza. But it was nearly down to wear markers around 3k so agree with others I doubt it's done 7k. Give it @exuptoy for his MT to complete his growing Albanian garage look
