This guy has really gone downhill since winning Moto 3. I’m not sure if it’s the company he keeps, but he’s thrown away a talent there

 

Absolutely wasted his career there, he was offered a Pramac Ducati Moto gp ride after winning the Moto 3 title but opted for Moto 2 where he lasted 3 races...... All downhill from there

Yes I am travelling here in Belmount near Charlotte great area , I would like to live here busy day getting JW settled in then off to Mytle Beeach before coming back here then back to UK....

 

OK so I'm making the trip too Silverstone on Friday for free practice 1 and 2. Six sessions, 2 of each class and free parking is great value for money at £15 in my book and really looking forward to it after last year's disappointing race day visit!

Last year I parked in the Dadford road car park and watched from Club corner, I say watched....... I saw morning warm ups and then sat around and got piss wet through for about 5 hrs before they called it a day!

So this year the weather's looking good and I intend to situate myself in the Grandstand on the national pit straight and maybe Copse corner!

So...... What I really want to know is, which is the best entrance to use at the circuit and to park at? As I said parking is free in the official Silverstone car parks and just want to get as close as I can to the National pit straight...... Any ideas?

This is where I'm looking to watch from...... So nearest circuit entrance and parking?

 

The map I posted shows that area surrounded by parking. I don't think you'll have an issue.

 

Huh...... From the circuit map you've just shown suggests using car park 25 and gate 5??

 

Looks as if any of the lots could be used in that area as there are entrances at both ends of the straight (3 & 5)

 

Great to see that an 'American' has more knowledge of Silverstone than a local!!
