No, there are machined pins that stay on the ABBA that are specific to the bike model (good thing here is only the pins need to be swapped when you change your bike) and these locate in the swing arm pivot on both sides of the bike. Have a look at

If you can hang out, ABBA usually have 10% off weekends on Bank Holidays. We have one in a couple of weeks (26 Aug). Maybe hang out until then.

Yep. Those 'thingies' are called a 'fitting kit'. Just two lugs/bosses that slide into the swingarm and into the stand. Simple process. Different kits for different bikes determined by the diameter of the swing arm holes. £18.00 retail as I recall.

One thing to take note of @blink - the shopping list on the ABBA site automatically includes a bobbin when you go for the arms, but just untick it as your blade already has rear bobbins from memory

 

It does have rear bobbins. Its a 13 plate. Might be a 12 model year though. Time to wait for a sale now!

 

It doesn't make a difference 12 or 13 the same inserts fit from the 2008 to current model

I had a cheap one and almost lost the gopro. This is strong and fits on the mirror. Ill be able to comment more when i have ridden with it on
