I'd like to disagree, but thinking about it everything you've said I can't help but think, "yeah, that would be great". I think the rear tail light looks ok. The tail tidy could be better though - so I'll see what options are available for that. Ultimately for me though, it's the performance and sound that will make me the happiest. Even better if it looks the part, but looks aren't everything for me.
Pretty sure the rear tail will be quick release like the 675r 13-16 well 3 bolts and it’s off for track. Also I would be very surprised if an evotech tail from the RS will bolt straight on .
Yes this is what I said the other day. The R1 front end should have shown them the way forward. Its going to be a nice bike for sure, but they have definitely stopped short of giving it that moto2 look on the front end. Shame.
You don't accessorise your bikes anyway nigel so what you worried about! Apart from a tail tidy you're Mr Standard
Just heard from Freddy at Triumph that there will NOT be an LED headlight option. I guess I'm not surprised. Only option would be to have some custom built which I imagine would be many arms and legs..
I think @nigelrb hit the nail on the head - it's more to do with the symmetry of having both LHS and RHS lights lit on dipped beam, which seems to be the standard with LED units. I used to have people stopping me (non bikers) to say I had a light out on my CBR600RR - don't get that with my 2017 blade. Also, neat little LED units would look better. It's not a deal-breaker for me either way, but given the bike is supposed to have the latest spec kit on it (ok Moto GP, 2, 3 bikes don't have headlights) then it would have been good to have the LED option.
I agree with Wozza, fuel gauges don't bother me. They aren't a non negotiable. I'd choose cruise control over a fuel gauge everytime. The bikes I've had with fuel gauges I tend to ignore and just calculate it myself on trip distance anyway.
I’m not fussed about any of it but find it amusing that the owner who will probably do the least miles on it is fussing over a fuel gauge
That guy presenting the 765 must get bored same over and over again in summary a 675 with carbon bodywork ,,different forks and more grunt...,extra 6k for your wallet ...oh and a Moto 2 sticker I know some on here have bought one but in my view this will not increase in much value although you may not lose much in 15yrs time.. Like most things it's what is worth to you...
On a different note mate called me today to say his BMW s1000rr bought same time I bought my sp with similar miles on....4K.....noticed a rattle took it in and the top end has gone awaiting update from BMW ..thankfully still under Warrenty ....looks like new engine...
