I've been accused of being a fat shaming elitist in the past.

Elitist, most definitely. However, if you feel I am fat shaming you, perhaps it is time for an introspective look.

And put down the fecking fritters, you lard arse!

    :D

This is one of things I actually don't like about riding bikes or getting involved in car owners' clubs. You end up having to talk to people that you wouldn't normally give the time of day to, simply because they enjoy doing the same thing as you :D

When I was 18 a few years ago  I had an accident that broke my leg and had other injury's, when you go into town for a drink with crutches it seems to attract all the nutters that have ever had an ailment to give you their life story. lozzy you think people with braces are bad, at least A, you can see them coming. B, you can run away

Oh no! My Halvarssons came with braces. No wonder no-one talks to me when I take my jacket off.

Jeez man...that's like driving a Ferrari in wellybobs :eek::eek:

You're in severe danger of being trussed to a tree with them in some lonely woods by the power rangers o_O

...and Sunpat applied to your nether regions for the squirrels to feast on....

Ignore this friendly warning at your peril o_O

Thanks for that @Lozzy. I'd better get busy with the needle & thread to sew some belt loops on (I'm a 'woke' man, so wouldn't dream of asking Mrs B&W!), or.... Trussed to a tree, you say?

Yes definitely wish I rode more this year, but after writing the RR7 on the second ride of my season then being without a bike until September it’s my own fault. Only been out on the RRB once and hoping to get a few more runs in before I stick her away at the end of the month. I may keep it taxed for October too, incase of a nice day or two but won’t hold my breath

I ride all year and yes even enjoy it in the rain but I will admit I have enjoyed the rain on the 790 Duke I nick from work a lot more than the rr4.

I've definitely not had the summer I was hoping for, but in my defence I've got it all going on at the moment. House extension in progress and the arrival of another small person earlier on in the year are the main reasons the SP has just short of a 1000 miles on the clock since getting it new in January!

I've just been looking at winter jackets as I fully intend to ride on as many dry days as I can for the rest of the year. I kind of enjoy autumn winter riding as well, feels nice not to be sweating your bollocks of in a one piece on a baking hot day!

It's going to be so much easier now as well with the new garage that form's part of the extension...... Rather than lugging it out of the back door and having to turn it around on the lawn. One click and the electric garage door will roll up and I can just wheel the bike out onto newly laid clean crisp driveway........ This is my dream and light at the end of the tunnel! :)

Same situation for me, I’ve done just 1300 miles on the MT10 since getting it and 500 miles of that was running it in but for the last few months when I’ve not been offshore I’ve been building the new garage and getting the groundwork sorted in the lane behind, but in the past I’ve had the bike out at the end of December providing we’ve had recent rain to clean the salt off the roads, so mine doesn’t get laid up.
