Hasn't worked for me. I used hang around the front of the Stratford-upon-Avon Elderly Citizens' Club and didn't attract even one look.:( And I even took the time to highlight 'Pirelli' on my tyres!!

They weren't wearing their glasses. Next time you pull up alongside them, loudly declare "These Pirelli's are the business", they'll be buzzing around you

On my first spin home on the Fireblade, I filled the tank at North Dublin and the fuel light came on again at Mitchelstown, about 120 miles later)) Was a surprise at the time as all previous bikes would have easy made it to Cork from Dublin and some of the return. Next day I asked the previous owner how many miles are left when the fuel light comes on. He said he used do 20 miles at slower speeds, meanwhile he says his buddies tell him they regularly get 30 miles after the warning light.

Every time the 'fuel usage' posts come up, I feel as if I must be holding back far too much or that I am just a wuss rider.

On my 2004, I regularly get 130 - 140 before light and run to 25 miles further before filling. I will add that I fill to the brim, and use Premium fuel which returns a few extra miles per tank than standard unleaded.

120 was about what I got before the fuel light would shine on my rr7. My back of a fag packet guesstimation was to expect about 10 miles per litre. Sometimes more, sometimes less but pretty much that and so would plan to fill up at about 110-120 miles.

Spot on in my experience. My RR6 averages out at 10 miles per litre and the light first comes on at circa 120 miles. I've gone to 150 miles without any issues. I think the tank is 17.(something) litres so in theory you'd get 170 miles but I wouldn't like to push it that far, (if you pardon the pun).

Got the lights opened just now)) 7 minutes in the fan oven at 120°C. Prised open easily, just paying attention to the 4 tabs holding them in. Drinking tea before taking the butyl off from the grooves and the lens. It's sticky stuff. Should have the bike lighting for the weekend)) And new Bridgestone s22 fitted)

Lights in the oven, and the bike looks sad without fairings and headlights )

Will splash out on a slipper clutch. Wheel hop when pushing isn't the nicest sensation. Are all brands equally good?

Had the first good night time drive since the lights were done, on dark country roads tonight. The lighting improvement is very significant, was worth it.
