. . . and @ninjagogo just messaged me and he also said 'Nope' because he doesn't use the postal service any longer
On a serious note, to bring the thread into line, I note that https://www.defaqto.com/insurance-brokers/star-ratings/ offers no ratings for Motor Cycle insurance. Would be interesting to see, but we cannot be guided by car insurers who might also offer bike insurance. I now use BeMoto exclusively and have found them to be reliable and with good value. However, there is no mention of the broker on the defaqto website.
Defaqto have a motorcycle section found here. https://www.defaqto.com/star-ratings/motorbike/motorbike-insurance/ But also..Nope.
Thanks @Stuish . I didn't notice that in my brief look. Having studied their 'methodology' ( https://www.defaqto.com/our-methodology/?id=53080 ) I always wonder if these reports can be skewed by assessors' personal preferences/experiences and or cash under the table. In rating the various companies' features and benefits together with 'core criteria' it might not take into account the hidden non-benefits of mid-term adjustments which have hit me and other MCE (to name just one) policy holders. My view is that if @Old_boy65 is contemplating policy renewal for a bike, be guided by the many insurance threads on this forum rather than a third party group.
What surprises me in that list, is Carole nash. Both five star and one star, depending on the level of cover provided.
Yep I noted that. They have always come back to me with the most expensive, so was struck from my list.
This defaqto rating was recently brought to my attention when speaking to car insurers and I’m wondering if we should bear it in mind when... seeking value for money?
Makes two for Bemoto A tad under £500 for my old 1299s and ZZR 1400 performance sport, and only £40 increase to swap over to the SP2, solely due to the vale of the bike.
Nope And I’m gutted with my insurance Three different prices from mce through different means and then when I did take it out it was wrong and should of increased the policy but the lady did say it would stay the same So I told her I loved her
Mine £94 fully comp for the cbr , they obviously don't expect us northerners to live for the full 12 months.
