has anything happened to dab radio My mate put a dab radio in two of his cars and has a dab indoors and none of them work Have they stopped broadcasting dab and if so why?
I had it on the disco sport a couple of months ago - just totally stopped! Turns out the wonderful people at Landrover needed to do a computermibob update!
You see you never had these problems with a good old fashioned am/fm radio in the car...where you just had to twiddle the nob ever few miles to try and find signs of life lol
There's a lot to be said for twiddling, mines is like that still (although I have some presets too hehehe)
F'in hell, thats a blast from the past. That was my favourite as a young lad...and just how old are you, lol
I have the be nice for 7 days card and I playing it Besides I can't count and that Bloody OOooh Aaaar crept in again as someone mentioned Norfolk - even though the Wurzels came from the other side of Englandshire
I find it can be a bit troublesome also, if the signal isnt good enough then you just get nothing. Signal coverage is widely known to be inadequate in many parts of the country even still. Interestingly we were meant to have a big digital switch over just like we did with tv in 2012, but I think now it's all but been abandoned. I know the BBC are keeping analogue radio going for the foreseeable future.
The thing is the two cars and the house one worked and have now stopped Didn’t know if Norwich had a problem with an aerial or something
Google says all is well in Norwich - but then again thats the BBC? https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/dab/Norwich_Central
Yep. And just out of interest, is my 8-track obsolete? Sure takes up a heap of space in the Citroen C1.
