If the SP version is around 36k Surly it will to expensive to race in superstock 1000cc class just like the Ducati V4R?

 

I think Honda are aiming more at WSBK

 

They need to introduce something because the current Fireblade is useless in any form of racing.

 

Swings and roundabouts mate, they were before and will come again. Thats why we all love them!

I think it did OK in OZ. ...also in endurance racing....it took the 1199 4yrs to get anywhere and if we went by reasults we would all be on zx10rr

 

Yeah, the Penrite Honda won the Oz championship last year and is currently leading the series with one race to go for 2019.

Some could say that it's 'only' Australia, however there is still factory support for the Yamaha and Kawasaki teams.

Also fair to say that WSB has seen recent improvements with both Andrew Irwin and Xavi Fores.

Fact remains though, the bike continues to under perform in comparison to progress made by other manufacturers.

There has been media hype and speculation over this for some time. However, this is the closest 'factual' information to be released. Those in the know will accept much of this as being very close to the mark.
