Ok, time for something astonishing. Never thought a Uke could sound so good. This guy is amazing! Funny watching him rock it up toward the end. That can not be easy?
As a guitar player for over 40 years I have a few in my playlist that impress me. Here’s one. Dan C Holloway.
...and you know when a voice comes out of a mouth that you weren’t expecting????? Just like Susan Boyle on BGT.
Here’s another..... could sing Steven Tyler down! They actually gave an album out now called Burn The Ships. It’s really good.
Nip is so clever...but you should try get him to use proper grammar and not text style - 'U2' should really be 'you to' Clever boy hahaha
You can’t really call this one a cover when the singer is Jimmy Barnes and the keyboard player was an original member of the group who wrote the song. Cracking version.
Y Yup pretty good mate. Something I wish i could play but I'm that inept I couldn't even get the triangle timing right at school and they put me out of that class
Is that guy miming??? Sounds very much like the original, otherwise he's a star. Scorpions are ultra difficult to imitate. I should know, I had the microphone prised out of my hands in a karaoke bar one night trying to do Send Me An Angel...ok, I was rather blootered and my singing ranks with my Triangle playing skills but hell this guy sounds good!!
Scorpions reposted his vid on their website. Something of an accolade Id say. A bit like when David Gilmour asked the Aussie Floyd to play for his 60th!
Deep Purple at California Jam in 1974 was an Epic concert. I so wish I could have seen that one live. Jon Lord was almost tipping his keyboards over a few times. And of course Ritchie was his usual moody self but played fantastically, I was a bit young to appreciate it at the time though as I was only 3
If you’re talking pipes, it has to be Amy Lee of Evanescence. and Hello which she wrote for her sister who died years before and she was told about it as a 6 year old in school!
Take a look at another DP lead singer Glenn Hughes with Bruce Dickinson at the Jon Lord Memorial concert. That guy can ‘kin sing.
I do like Evanescence but to be honest some of her stuff is a bit screechy and I pick and choose. Hello is a good one
I definitely have to agree there on that one. I think Hughes may actually have been the best of all the DP singers. David Coverdale was good too and went on to Whitesnake so I naturally like them too. Brucie, nuff said. Legend
You need another hobby...all that time on your knees arranging Mr. Nipsters kibble has made you mad. There's a joke in there about @Lozzy on her knees that I refuse to make. Purely out of concern for my own personal safety.
There’s an even better one about somewhere to park your bicycle but I couldn’t possibly say that out loud!
What, there was human intervention??? The dog did it no. My one used to do similar but she couldn't spell so good and only ever swore
