Unlucky mate...I had a 250 Superdream years ago that didn't have a battery (well it did but was fecked) so it got bump started every time
Yes, it's suffered. But surely you've read numerous posts on the importance of keeping batteries on a tender with these bikes? More so as the weather gets colder. I've stored bikes outdoors under plastic also, Even if you connect up a charger every few days they'll survive.
Well didn't go to brands so got the sp out about midday for a spin roads all good popped on the warmer undersuit and got a good spin in...not been out for 3 wks battery charger had been on it.,,just turned 4K miles all good hopefully may get a mid week spin in as well before the real cold sets in...
Nothing on my bike but me and the missus were driving back from the outlaws and when we came to the Woods a bike had just gone down. We blocked the lane with the car to protect the rider and a couple more bikers who had made it across to him. Helped them get the bike back to the Woods and then lent him my phone to call his missus as he had no signal. Sods law she didn't answer so he rang his mum instead haha. Rider mostly ok, suspect he may have broken his wrist, bike is a bit battered on the rhs and lost his front brake lever. So that was mine and the missus' good deed for the day. Just to make it more relevant he is thinking of replacing his (now battered) cbr600f with a blade.
I have but time got away from me to get it sorted! I’ll be ordering a charger today to get it back up. Hopefully a new battery won’t be needed!
Did a bit of time travelling back to 2003 and pulled out my Bumblebee for a short blast. There is nothing one cannot like about these 954s!
Originals are about the same. I think this only looks huge in comparison with today's stubby type cans. Here's original:
More parts ordered ready to sit in the garage until I get time to fit, radiator guard from Dan at Racing Radiator Guards. £42.99 including delivery. Thought it was well worth a punt.
Took mine to stockport and back met a few, was fun Now im home though, the front, clocks and plastics behind rhe side fairings are loose. Moving up and down, anyone know where the fixings are for that?
Nothing yet. But nice sunny day here, ahead of a few wet ones. Will set up my 'pop up' workshop and do some serious cleaning and detailing.

I think it’s all about nigels fastidious attention to the originality of the bike? I believe the VFR? Has it’s original plate on too? @nigelrb correct me if I’m wrong? if I’m right I need to get a life
