^^^ Yes, but his pre-season tests showed promise. I think I even bet someone he'd finish in the top 5! (Of course I'd never be able to find that thread now) Putting aside his determination, I think his mindset will not allow him to remain with Honda. His brain must be frazzled and busting to get back to his former self.
Well Crutchlow did pick up a couple of late-in-the-race places in Japan and looked more on the pace (and bike) than he had been for a few races now..
Brad Binder promoted from his new Tech3 KTM to KTM Red Bull factory team without so much as turning a wheel!
Lorenzo in Free Practice and getting in Marquez's way - bits of plastic flying off ! I reckon Marquez was just showing him who's boss.
Having just seen it...... I feel really dissapointed in Marquez, pure attitude. He just rammed him!! Like he owns the track or something?? Lorenzo and everyone else on the track deserves a lot more respect!!
Remember when Marquez first started in MotoGP, he used to use his bike to push his way through - he used to do that to Lorenzo who would be intimidated by it at first - almost jumping out of the way. I seem to remember he hardened up to it. Then Marquez tried the same thing with Valentino - and he would end up coming off second best - end up sitting on the track watching Rossi ride off ! I did used to like watching him bounce off Rossi when he tried those tricks
Just read that Sam Lowes has just been penalised for a similar aggressive move on fellow moto 2 competitor Raffin and has received a penalty of starting at the back of the grid for the race! Marquez should get the same surely?
Wow, Paulo. You haven't lost that compassion for Jorge. I do hope he regains form somewhere, but yesterday he was simply lolling about the track. The Sam Lowes incident was a pre-meditated and aggressive change of direction as opposed to MM's qualifying pace on the racing line.
I haven't actually seen the Sam Lowes incident and I only saw a clip of the Marquez Lorenzo collision so I can't fully understand what's gone on! I'm staying at the in laws at the moment due to ongoing extension works on the house and they haven't got BT sport I can watch on my I pad live but not at silly o clock
Huh..... Now I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about all things Moto gp, but when the frig did Zarco ride for Suzuki??
Yes, you're the man on the spot. Easy for me to do searches on desktop. Appears he tested in 2016 while still in Moto 2. Rins and Iannone eventually got the job. All here: https://www.motorcyclesports.net/motogp/zarco-admits-negotiate-suzuki/
No Spoilers For those of us who like our sleep the races are on BT Sport 3, timings are: Moto 3 @ 11:15 Moto 2 @ 12:15 Moto GP @ 13:15
