New Bike that i thought was rather nifty...

    looks the nuts, at the bike show tomorrow so will keep a look out- Only thing would be if they do a model with bigger wheels, my garage floor isn't dead smooth, so could be hard to move the bike around on it?

    The wheels are pretty well made with nice steel bearing racers in them, my floor is not exactly smooth either but it makes light work of moving it around my garage.

    Or just lay an old bit of carpet so that it can glide on that instead of the bare concrete floor.

    Jesus those guys at Envy pis.ed me off today.........last week took my money promised me my lift in their words" you ll have it in less than a week".......rang em today and asked where it was "you should have it in two weeks" was the reply ! after a very long deliberation i still went with this stand.......raging with bloody envy !!

    Yes i can understand your frustration!! I waited almost 3 months for mine but did have good communication with the boss. I recently spoke with him and he told me that they have just moved premises and their back orders were a bit behind. It is a great bit of kit and really well made and makes working and moving the bike so much easier compared to my Abba stand.

    it was your liking of the stand that made me finally get one Pete (THOUGHT THE NEC SHOW BACK LOG WOULD WELL AND TRUELY BE OVER).....just did nt think asking for all the loot up front was a fair way to sell.....a deposit yes but then to wait for yours Pete 3 months ? and now my "less than a week".........? i ll be pissed if its more than the NOW "no more than another two weeks"..............!

    Envy bike lift update !!!!!!!!!!!!! still no effin sign of it and no one answering calls...........or replying to emails ? should i start worrying ????
    ps Steve say nowt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not bad considering it was to be with me after a "couple of days" !
    ordered and paid on the 14th of FEB !

    That really is poor Rob.
    Is there any chance of getting your money back and going elsewhere? (assuming you can talk to someone).
    If you paid by card i guess the bank could pull the cash back as you have not received the goods.

    You are correct - it wasn't without its issues. Luckily i can make the parts myself to correct them.
    The improvements were done because i like to make things as good as they can be.

    If i dont get it by the 14th of March i will be asking for a refund.......... and constands will be getting a call ! lol paid by debit card........not sure how i stand ?

    Rang Envy yesterday and was told I would know by the end of the week adding "even if it is good news or bad" ???? What the f..k is that meant to mean ??

    Made my regular phone call to ENVY today, to be told they are moving units and have had the electric cut off in the current unit (no power for production)......and their new factory unit is nt getting electric till end of week.....??? bloody unlucky no electric means no bike lift this week...........One month has now passed since i paid em !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sound like a load of bollocks mate. They are well at it. I'd be getting my money back and in no short terms telling them to feck off. For a company that is supposedly meant to be up and running, it sounds more like a bunch of cowboys. As far as excuses go, that's a doozy.
