Does have a nice 'clean' look about it. I'm am not in its radar, but what would concern me is: 'What teething problems will this thing have?', given some probs with recent releases.
I think you would be OK with the V2 as based on the 959.....even if the new Honda is a winner I will give it a few months before getting one....got my finial free service plan to use up end of June,,,,,then if not selling there maybe deals to be had...
Very valid point. It is only the bunnies who pay through the nose for early purchase bragging rights. Case in point is Honda's C125 CUB which entered the market in a flurry of promotion for £3399. Today, a dealer is offering brand new for £2666 with many others around the £2700 mark.
That is cool looking bike - and a bit of power to back up its good looks. You see you Honda jonnies - what you can do when you try Bye-bye BMW
Claimed 214bhp at the crank, no price as of yet though.... question is will it be enough to pull people away from the R1?!
Too many, and not just on this forum, will not buy the first release of a new model. Some merit in that as many have been burnt before. The impulsive devotees like myself, put all that aside and buy straight up. If there's faults, we suffer, just to help the second-version buyers! As of this minute, I have no problem leaning toward Honda over the R1M. I have said repeatedly I'd wait to see what the 2020 looks like and so far so good.
