I like them both. Possibly just possibly the Honda Racing lettering pips it to the post.

Not sure how easy it would be to change the engraving pattern but the Honda Racing lettering should look like this really.
Maybe I'm being picky but i just think it's more accurate. The HRC logo is spot on though.

    Generally, yes. Except for breasts:).

I always choose the one kilo pack in Tesco.

Yes totally agree, am planing to stick rothmans fairings on next year and wanted a subtle clue to the bikes original clothes. I have a plain black one on at the minute which will be on with the HRC fairings

Just to add to this post, these tops can be purchased separately to the bases if desired.

Currently the silver HRC is sold.

Failing that I can engrave any tops that have previously been purchased.

    Hi @mk3golfcab
Thanks for the guard mate, thats a slick piece of milling!!!

I may have to butcher it to fit with my new large hugger though as the tab on the hugger is designed to sit on top of the chain guard tab.... my picture isn’t that clear but hopefully you will see what i mean. It looks like i will need to cut it straight across a couple of mill past the angle nearer to the fixing hole. I might struggle to match the black anodised finish after i set the hacksaw on it, any tips?

In all seriousness though, some guys have managed to fit it slightly offset, if you hacksaw it a black permanent marker will cover the sins, it won’t be “as good” but it will blend it enough so you won’t notice it as much :)

thanks for your kind words - much obliged :):)

Cheers mate, i was more trying out the fit of the hugger but will try them both together again before i take the hugger down to get painted. If I’m careful i can have the cut hidden with the plastic tab over the top :)

Well i got it to fit without too much of the aluminium showing thanks to the plastic tab of the hugger. Think I may have frostbite though!

    PS @mk3golfcab
Have you thought or tried doing longer ones that go further towards the front of the bike? I noticed I have chain lube splatter about the same distance again on the underside of my OEM chain guard.
