When certain school's emphasis is placed upon whether boys can wear skirts in summer to keep cool (equality issue, see: https://www.theguardian.com/educati...ts-to-school-protest-no-shorts-uniform-policy ) and cause public uproar over gender 'equality' teaching, (religious issue, see: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-48351401 ) and attendance records dictate the treatment of certain students, see: https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/school-bans-boy-end-term-7027542 , we will never see OUR children receive a proper education centred upon the old 'Three Rs'. *As an aside, that's why I purchased my 2020 because of its RR-R* Grammar is sought out not only in the dating scene but also in employment applications. Without taking sides, a company could have an excellent potential candidate, but a misspelled application in all probability would not get him/her to the interview stage. It might not surprise you @Lozzy , to learn that many of our Asian friends have a much better command of written and verbal English than do our native speakers. Many Asian schools teach English from a child's first year. This, to some, will be hard to believe when we look at friggin' instructions on Chinese-made products!
