BMW cant provide them, they were the show stopper from 2018 NEC show, still some customers who ordered last year still not had delivery, some have and bought other marques because they could not supply. Then they have the audacity to show a new colour scheme for 2020 yet, you still cant get a 2019 bike, if I were to go in the dealer tomorrow and try and buy one I would be told next June July at earliest ..

    Joke is on BMW .

Been to the show myself today. Thought the SP looked amazing apart from the top yoke. I was surprised at how much I liked the look of it, really is a good looking bike in the flesh. But jesus it's an aggressive riding position. I couldn't live with that considering I like to do 2-300 mile days. That black colour is a disaster, mix of matte and gloss really doesn't do the bike any justice. Also I still can't see how Honda think that price is justifiable or realistic.

Panigale V4s were really lovely and had a great riding position. I didn't like the look of the Streetfighter that much although it was so busy I couldn't get at it properly. That V2 was gorgeous and was my 2nd favourite bike at the show....

The new Z H2 naked thing is bloody hideous.....but actually had one of the best riding positions I'd sat on all day, such a shame as that could have been such a good bike. Met Dean Harrison on the Kawasaki stand too which was nice.

BMW S1000RR was actually a lot better than I remember last year, makes me wonder if some of the plastics had been improved in quality? That new blue and white is really nice.

Gsxr1000r was lovely, they had one with £4k of extras fitted....still cheaper than a standard fireblade and it really was stunning. I definitely wouldn't rule that one out if I was in the market for a sportsbike.

Tuono factory was gorgeous and are being knocked out for £13k at wheels motorcycles in pboro. Bargain.

Hands down my fave bike of the show was the new street triple RS. What a lovely bike and such a bargain. The new updates are perfect.

Oh....and I was pleasantly surprised with the moto2 daytona, that's a gorgeous bike. A different front end and I reckon it would have been perfect.

Well the new blade at the NEC today must say very disappointed not what I was expecting apart from the sp colour the rest ain’t worth the price, the finish on the frame and swingarm looks like it’s been done with a rattle can the top yolk is fugly the switchgear looks cheap the riding position is crippling, and as for the Bmw the carbon wheels may look nice but there is the recall on them and the standard wheels the finish is atrocious rough edges and paint poor, switchgear looks cheap how can two manufacturers expect to charge the prices they do with such poor build quality on show.
For me the two standout bikes at the show were the moto2 triumph absolutely stunning and the Norton superlight with the carbon frame stunning also

Interesting. As we near the end of the show I find it's most astounding that most like the appearance of the 2020 Blade (except black) but all, bar one I think, are critical of the riding position. If this is also fed back through dealers worldwide, Honda must surely be bound to make some very quick 'updates' or there could be very few sales of these bikes. And THAT is before we even touch on price!!;)

Congrats, MoSteel, you seem to be one of very few who appreciate the Moto 2 Daytona. My topical question follows: Would you pay £15,700 for it?:)

Personally I think Triumph have been lazy with the bodywork. They pulled the Tona as they reckon there wasn’t enough market for them then they spend money and R&D time to build a bike to put the glorious Moto2 engine into then recycle the old front end! All when the manufacturers want to make the headlights tiny and full LED (even the Street Triple!).

Well just to be different I preferred the black blade, particularly from the front. Still won't be buying one so looks like Honda aren't hitting the correct market :(

Of course I accept my bias, but look at the detail:

Agreed Nige but they started with a Street Triple so all they really had to do was redesign the front end!
What they’ve done isn’t hard work, I converted the rear end of my Street Triple R for a while and put Ohlins on it!
Don’t have a pic of the suspension converted but I have one of the shock before I sold it.
