This is the most annoying / frustrating / pissed off outcome. Still, all my bits are still attached :)

sounds sort of like what I did to mine, didnt have much pride, and i still dont really know what i did, but wet muddy road, some gravel, and it had diesel on it. also about 10 mph, probably wasnt smooth with the power, especially since i had only done a few hundred miles at that time.

I also have a shaved knee slider too from it ;)

I dont know what it cost me to fix, I never added it up, could be anything from £300 to about a grand lol

    :)
I counted up £380 and thats not counting the seam I will need repaired on my leathers. I skidded on the stitching so will need to get them looked at :)

Hopefully it will learn me to be more careful but I have been whinging about the throttle being on / off which is why I am getting it remapped but the guy cant do it till January which is ok as Im heading back to work next week and wont be riding anyway :(

I thought the throttle was twitchy on mine, but i think i just got used to it, because i dont seem to have issue with that anymore.

my leathers just acquired 'character' :D

Quite often a consequence of having too much money!;)

[Kudos though, when it's the result of hard work and sacrifices!!]

My right arse cheek has acquired plenty character but fortunately that wasnt near a seam (on the leather before you think it ahahaha). Maybe some boot polish will blend away the chaffing ;)

I thought that, but its sort of faded with muck from riding, think im on 8000 miles now, I didnt want to use boot polish to find it marking walls, furniture, bedding, whips, canes, victims clothes etc

I went for a ride this morning, new tyres im sure feel better now they dont have a ridge of fear around them!

it was a bit busy for me to get any speed on corners, but I def felt comfortable on it again, and filering a lot more is fun. I think the key is not to stop, just keep going :D

I’m happy to say I managed to save my Akra with some spares, patience and numerous foul words when it was not complying
Some GB engine covers have also been added

Just waiting on the bar end to complete the repair :D

Great recovery @LRJimmy . So fortunate to have not marked the actual can body.

What brand grips are on your tank? They look rather subtle and might inspire me to give them a try.

Yes @nigelrb they do indeed have a disc logo, however it is clear with only Eazi Grip written on it. Where it it on my tank cover it is over the burgundy so the writing is not seen. The only way you notice it is with the surface finish being smooth compared to the dimples. i dont have a close up photo to hand but you can see on this one if you zoom in.
