The problem with Honda, Lozzy, is that few dealers are prepared to offer any concessions on yet-to-be-released bikes, especially to a non-finance buyer, because they know there will always be someone else walking through the door. I got a reasonable deal on the SP, but as I've said many a time, @Wozza took it the next level of 'negotiated goodies'. I did try last year's RSV and found it a tight fit for me. Bit of a pointless statement now that I've gone ahead with the even tighter 2020 Blade. As I recall, you're about the same height as me, and coincidentally, of similar high intellect, so I think the RSV might even be a bit of a tighter fit than your current treasures.
Nah only kidding Nigel....I love my Blades so wouldn't swap. The rsv is a tall bike but funnily enough it feels bigger sat on it all round than Di's SP! It was just interesting that they're knocking them down already. They had a brand new 19 SP in for 15k as well so they've plummeted down too!
Yeah 2nd hand sp are now £2.50..bikes are way overpriced now....24k you can buy a F type Jag it must be the worst bike purchase I have made in terms of depreciation even a standard s1000rr holding up...biggest drop I have seen lately is a BMW 8 series convertiable 123k new same model colour spec etc...3mth old 1200mls 64k wow...I thought my 30k in 2 yrs on my motor was bad so with the car and bike how to ........ money up the wall everything is dropping like a stone...except new but deals to be had
